Slip/Trip/Fall Prevention

Contact Jim Gindlesperger 412-268-3760

Approximate time: 1 hour

Recommended: for everyone.

Hazards found around the office are discussed, with suggestions on how to avoid them.  An emphasis is placed on falls, which are the leading cause of injuries on campus.  A humorous video is used to focus on a serious problem.   Attention is given to those office objects that we take for granted, but which can create special safety problems, such as file cabinets, swivel chairs, hallways, carpets, extension cords, paper cutters, and many everyday situations that we all face.  If you think you could never possibly fall, think again.  And then sign up for this very important class.
